Getting started
In this guide, we will show you how to register, download, and activate your Steinberg software for the first time. Follow the sections below to get started.
Register the Download Access Code
The first the activation process is to register the Download Access Code which you received from your Sweetwater Sales Engineer. You first will need to create an account with Steinberg, so follow these steps to register your code.
Activate the license
In order to authorize the Activation Code you received from Steinberg, you first need to download and install the eLicenser Control Center (eLCC) and also register the Soft or USB eLicenser. A USB eLicenser is required for most Steinberg products. Some products, however, do not require a USB eLicenser and are instead activated directly to your computer’s hard drive (a Soft eLicenser).
